Andrew Liang has been playing the violin since he was six and is now in year 8 at Ku-ring-gai Creative Arts High School. In 2011, he was selected for the Australian String Academy's special program and now studies with Professor Peter Zhang. Andrew won the Violin Solo (14/u)  event at 2014 Sydney Eisteddfod, and through this victory, performed on MTV for Misy Higgins' new album. He plays with the North Sydney Youth Symphony Orchestra and in August 2014, performed a program of Tchaikovsky and Brahms at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
